HOW YOU CAN EXPRESS AND/OR REVOKE YOUR CONSENT TO THE INSTALLATION OF COOKIES
In addition to what is indicated in this document, the User can manage cookie preferences directly within his/her browser and prevent - for example - third parties from installing cookies.
With the exception of technical cookies that are strictly necessary for normal browsing, the provision of data is left to the will of the interested party who decides to browse the site after having read, upon access, the brief information contained in the appropriate banner.
To avoid the installation of cookies it is possible to disable this function through the appropriate functions available on your browser.
You can also use your browser preferences to delete cookies installed in the past, including the cookie in which your consent to the installation of cookies by this website is possibly saved. The procedure for managing cookies is different for each browser. The User can find information on how to manage cookies with some of the most popular browsers at the following addresses for example:
It is possible for the individual user to deny consent to the use of cookies by selecting the setting he or she considers appropriate on his or her browser and to choose which cookies to allow.
If users/visitors wish to decide on a case-by-case basis whether or not to accept cookies, they can also configure their browser to generate a warning each time a cookie is saved.
Options for browsing without cookies are also available depending on the browser used, for example
- Block third-party cookies: third-party cookies are generally not indispensable for browsing, so you can reject them by default, via special functions in your browser.
- Enable the Do Not Track option: the Do Not Track option is present in most of the latest generation of browsers. Websites designed to respect this option should automatically stop collecting some of your surfing data when activated. As mentioned, however, not all websites are set up to respect this (discretionary) option.
- Activate the ‘anonymous surfing’ mode: with this function you can surf without leaving any trace of your surfing data in the browser. Sites will not remember you, pages you visit will not be stored in the history and new cookies will be deleted. However, anonymous surfing does not guarantee anonymity on the Internet, as it only serves to keep your surfing data in the browser, whereas your surfing data will remain available to website operators and connectivity providers.
- Delete cookies directly: there are functions to do this in all browsers. Remember, however, that new cookies are downloaded every time you connect to the Internet, so you should delete them periodically."
HOW TO DISABLE AND/OR MANAGE THIRD PARTY COOKIES
With regard to cookies installed by third parties, the User may also manage its settings and revoke consent by visiting the relevant opt-out link (if available), using the tools described in the third party's privacy policy or by contacting the third party directly.
